2nd Procedure

after the template come out, we decided different country for the different month.
after this, the process we get some picture of the country and try to make a different thing in calendar...
1) create a shape at below of the template, rasterize it, using Liquify tool to make it shape twirl.
After that, using magic wand to select the shape and choose feather, then press delete, to make it has fade out effect.
2) the France word is a type layer with layer blending option>outer glow.

3)using rectangular marquee tool and with 60px feather and select the picture..

4) after that copy into our main calendar page...using free transform ctrl+T the change the size of the image to fit in the space at beside the template...

5) after that, using same method to make 2 picture at the top there...as the picture shown...

6) the final and the last step, as this month July is France country, i would like to put the flag of France at the top right of the calendar..the other month also same as this one...

using layer blending option also, jus make the flag outer glow effect.
so the final picture is as shown...XD

this is the other month i did..the country is Austria, and is january.
the procedure is same as upper part..continue the process of just now that one..this new month..is done....~~

Progress of the Calender Template

Firstly, I used Rounded Square Tool to draw out some rounded square. I click on the shape layer> blending  Options change the stroke size into 9. I copy and paste the first rounded square, and arrangement them in a fixed position.

Secondly, I added the month, years, and days. And I'm using Dungeon as my font type.

I highlighted the whole thing, and press and hold ALT to duplicate a new one and I change the stroke of the rounded squares to 3, I highlighted them again press SHIFT and hold to make it small evenly. I duplicate the smaller calender and move the word "2011" to the other side of the calender. And I used free transform to rotate the word "2011" 180 degree.

Second improved calender template~

Leader of 6 x 2 C2 It me again. We noted down our computer graphic lecturer comment on our first calander template. We corrected our previous mistake which is we did not apply 2/3: 1/3 rule to our calender template. Moreover rejected our first calender template design, because our previous design is very common, we decided to chnage another design and we make sure we apply all the design principle.

We have two deisgn here, we already apply the 2/3: 1/3 rule. We will discuss about which one is the best for our calender design on our next meeting.

First Template~

HI!!! Leader of 6x2 C2 (Koh Soo Hong) here. We had discuss about our calender template. The picture below is our first template.
As you can see, on both side there two small calender, on the left hand side shows the previous month, on the other hand, on the right hand side shows the next month. Why we decided to put those two month on our calender design? It simple, we want convenient, convenient to those people who want to compare date with another month.

Unfortunately, our design principle is no good, we have white space, quite balance on both side, the problem is we forgot to apply 2/3: 1/3 rule, this rule is the most important layout rule.
